In the 21st century it gets more and more difficult to care for our church buildings, with costs constantly rising and dependable companies harder to find. When repairs and renovations are needed it is so important for churches to be able to find trustworthy and affordable craftsmen.
We have found just such a company in Cornerstone Builders Group. We have had the privilege of working with them on several large projects involving our church and school buildings.
For years we found it necessary to repaint our steeple every 5 to 8 years and the cost of this project grew greater and greater each time. After speaking with the professionals at Cornerstone Builders Group it was suggested that we use a PVC product which would never require painting and the cost was substantially less than painting. Using this product, we were able to re-cover our steeple and it looks like new.
Since that project we have also utilized Cornerstone Builders in doubling the size of a classroom, enlarging our school office, replacing all of the trim on the main church building and around the windows with the same PVC product and the replacement of all of the windows in our main church building with ones that are maintenance free and thermal efficient. We are already benefiting from the financial savings that these windows yield.
Leo Feola, founder, owner and native of Fair Lawn, could not have been more accommodating from our first project to our last project. There is no doubt that we will turn to them again and again for future projects.

We hired Cornerstone to do a full redesign of the outside of our home. We had a very old colonial with original wood paneling. We knew we wanted a new HardiePlank finish, but we had a lot of questions about other changes like the trim work, building a portico, weatherproofing and more. Leo was great to work with and patiently helped us through the process to finalize all the details and get the job moving. We were missing a lot of important pieces having never done this before, so Leo engaged some of his trusted contractors to complete things we had not thought about or prepared for like designs, electrical/lighting changes and more.
