An Introduction to CBG Florida
Cornerstone Builders Group is officially expanding our Pre-Development, Pre-Construction, and Construction Management services into Florida. This isn’t a spin off or a separate company. It is an extension of the same team, same leadership, and same standards we built in New Jersey and New York. Our headquarters will remain in NJ, but Florida is now part of our operating footprint in a real and permanent way. We are fully licensed and insured, and we have already completed our first home in Hobe Sound as part of this launch.
Why Florida and Why Now
Over the past several years we kept seeing the same pattern. Many New Jersey and New York residents were relocating to Florida, and a large percentage of them were frustrated with the pace, coordination, and urgency of construction services there. Anyone who has built in NJ or NY understands the level of detail and responsiveness required to get a project approved, planned, and executed without unnecessary delays. Florida is growing quickly, but that same sense of urgency is not always present. We believe that gap creates an opportunity for a firm like ours to make a real impact.
CBG already operates with a structured process for feasibility, entitlement support, early budgeting, team assembly, and construction oversight. That process was built in markets where municipalities, boards, and inspectors expect tight project control. Bringing that approach to Florida allows us to serve both new clients and the large population of NJ and NY residents who now call Florida home.
